Cadrex Monterrey is home to some of the most advanced metal fabricating technology in Mexico, according to a new article in The FABRICATOR en Español, the Spanish-language branch of North America’s leading magazine for the metal forming and fabricating industry.
The article, which was published in the Spring 2024 issue, discusses Cadrex’s growth in Monterrey and its impact on the North American manufacturing industry. It also mentions the facility’s AMADA ACIES series punch/laser combination machines. Cadrex Monterrey Operations and Strategic Initiatives Vice President Federico Diaque said in the article the AMADA machines help Cadrex increase output without sacrificing quality.
“It allows us from a product standpoint to move forward, do much more faster changeovers, and make easier decisions when it comes to operations,” Diaque said.
Cadrex Manufacturing Solutions, one of the largest manufacturing partners and mechanical solutions providers in North America, opened a new 150,000-square-foot facility near its existing site in Monterrey in February 2024. This addition gives Cadrex 405,000 square feet of manufacturing space in Mexico, making the combined sites the largest operational location in the company.
